About Us

It has taken a lot of planning, prayer, and hard work to get us where we are today.

Eden Village of Wilmington’s 31-unit pedestrian only tiny home community is  next to the airport and adjacent to the Salvation Army Complex, providing access to appropriate support services, transportation, and job training. This community houses thirty-one of our city’s disabled and chronically homeless friends for $300 per month. All residents must have some type of income with most having about $750 per month from government sources. Residents are provided access to a supportive community, support services and paired with a home team that meets monthly.

Community Amenities

What does an Eden Village community look like?

Ready to learn more? Eden Village of Wilmington is a finger-print accessed community, with a courtyard setting encouraging sober and communal living. All resident handicap-accessible tiny homes have a front porch. Residents have access to a 1-acre community garden and a community center clubhouse. The clubhouse includes offices for supportive services, a place to hold workshops, group dining, a place to meet with counselors and access to laptop computers. All homes come completely furnished and have everything that a single occupant would need to live a dignified, clean and sober life.

Our goal is for Eden Village of Wilmington to build more locations of similar size, but our timeline is dependent upon funding. We can’t do it without you, please consider a donation or volunteering to help make this dream a reality.
